Vidya Balan feels 'happy' to be be appointed as CBFC member

Mumbai, Aug 12 (IBNS): Actress Vidya Balan on Saturday said she is happy to join the reconstituted Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as a member.

"I am very happy to join the CBFC and I hope to fulfill my responsibilities as a member to the best of my abilities. (1/3)," she tweeted as she posted her reaction over the appointment.

She said:"I look forward to this new and exciting phase where our cinema will be allowed to reflect the sensibilities, realities (2/3)."

"And complexities of the society we are living in today, (3/3)," Vidya Balan said.

The CBFC has been reconstituted for three years term or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Prasoon Joshi has been named the head of the CBFC.
