Viacom 18 Motion Pictures to co-produce Kangana Ranaut starrer Rangoon

Mumbai, Jan 13 (IBNS) Vishal Bharadwaj's Rangoon starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead will now be co-produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures along with Vishal himself and Sajid Nadiadwala.

Kangana has started shooting for the second schedule of the film. The film is set against the backdrop of the second world war where she will be seen playing a film actress. She has also been training in horse riding and sword fighting for the role.

Rangoon is Kangana's first period film and she'll be seen in an all new avatar. Kangana has also cut her hair short to a Marilyn Monroe style for her character Julia.  

The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor along with Kangana.
