TV actor Siddharth Shukla booked after his BMW crashes into three cars

Mumbai, July 22 (IBN): Television actor Siddharth Shukla has been booked over allegations of rash driving which caused damaged to multiple cars and also injured a man on Saturday, media reports said.

According to reports, Shukla, who was driving a BMW X5 sports utility vehicle, crashed into three cars, drove over a divider before finally crashing into an electric pole around 6pm on Saturday.

Shukla was taken into custody and sent for a medical examination.

Police said only after receiving the reports of the blood test, they can confirm whether Shukla was under the influence of alcohol while driving.

A case under sections 279 (punishment for rash driving), 336 (punishment for endangering life of others) and 337 (punishment for causing hurt by endangering personal safety) of the IPC has been registered against the actor.
