Tanishaa Mukerji supports breast cancer awareness at 'Our Marathon'

Mumbai, Feb 2 (IBNS) Actress Tanishaa Mukerji, along with her sister Kajol, was recently spotted at ‘Our Marathon’ an event organized by NGO Prashanti Cancer Care.

At the event, the actress spoke about the awareness and importance of being fit and healthy to prevent cancer.

Tanishaa was present along with sister Kajol. 

Speaking about the initiative, Tanishaa said, "I was very impressed with Pune's citizens who came out this year to run for a cause. One of the major factors to preventing cancer is a having a healthy lifestyle. Eating the right foods, exercising and keeping your body healthy. It was a huge success and it was lovely to see so many fit and fabulous people participating. As we know that early detection will give u a higher chance of curing cancer,” she said.

At the marathon, the NGO launched a bus that would go around providing a safe sterile environment for women to get tested for breast cancer. 

Tanishaa also shared her fitness mantra with the audience, she said, “Stay fit stay healthy stay fabulous!”
