Tanishaa accompanies mom Tanuja to The Raj Kapoor Awards

Mumbai, Aug 18 (IBNS) Veteran actress Tanuja was honored by The Raj Kapoor Awards, the highest awards by the Maharashtra Government, for her lifetime contribution to the industry.
Tanuja has not only given super hit Hindi films but recently the actress also delivered a power-packed performance in a Marathi film titled ‘Pitruroon’. 
 
Daughter Tanishaa Mukerji accompanied Tanuja and was visibly thrilled about her mother receiving this lifetime achievement award.  
 
The mother-daughter duo was seen talking away and onlookers couldn’t help but notice the brilliant chemistry and bonding between the two. While Tanuja chose to wear a beautiful crème sari teamed with pearls, daughter Tanishaa Mukerji was seen in a lovely green Indo western outfit by designer Vaishali S. Tanishaa shared her happiness on Twitter as she stated, “Mom to receive the Raj Kapoor lifetime achievement award! Oh what a night! ‪#amazingmom ‪#legend ‪#proud”
