Tamil film Koozhangal India's official entry into Oscars 2022

Kolkata/IBNS: Tamil film 'Koozhangal' has been chosen as India's official entry into Oscars 2022.

The announcement has been made by the Film Federation of India here.

'Koozhangal' or 'Pebbles', directed by debutant P.S. Vinothraj, was released this year.

The story of the film is based on a real incident of Vinothraj's family.

Vinothraj shot the entire film in Arittapati, near Melur in Madurai.

'Koozhangal' premiered at the 50th International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Feb 4, 2021.
