Talvar to be screened in law colleges
Mumbai, Sept 29 (IBNS): Talvar, based on the most controversial Aarushi Talwar murder case, is to be debated in Law Schools.
The makers of Talvar are on a unique promotion spree. Unlike the conventional method of hosting premieres a day prior to the release, the makers have been hosting premiers all over India days prior to the release as they are very confident about the movie and want to use the 'word-of-mouth' tool to promote the movie.
Now the makers, are using another unique way to promote their film. They are to showcase the film prior release at Law Schools situated in Pune, Delhi and Bangalore.
Colleges generally conduct debates on controversial cases creating news. Law schools being a prime institution for budding lawyers serves as the most appropriate platform to showcase the content driven film.
Meghna Gulzar's Talvar based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case has brought back the case in news as the case showcases three detailed investigations conducted through out the case.
Law Colleges across India have been sending requests to the makers of Talvar to conduct debates in their colleges on the controversial subject of the Aarushi Talwar murder case.
The film would not only serve as a medium to observe and learn intricate details pertaining to the case but also help the Law School students to brainstorm key aspects of the case.
The makers will be hosting a screening for the Law students and post the screening of the film, a debate would be organised whereby students would be bestowed with the opportunity to put forward their respective perspectives on the case.
The film presents to its viewers 3 detailed investigations conducted throughout the murder case.
Recently, Talvar held its world premier at the Toronto International film festival where the movie received a rousing response and the initial reviews have been very strong and powerful.
