Taapsee Pannu to return to courtroom drama with Mulk

Mumbai, May 21 (IBNS): Nearly two years after the release of Pink, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu will once again feature in a courtroom drama, the subject of her upcoming film Mulk, set to release in July this year.

Taapsee has shared s picture from the film on Twitter on Monday. The actress will possibly play the role of a lawyer, named as Aarti.


In a caption written in Hindi, Taapsee said: "Once again there will be a court, a family, a mentality and a conflict......"

The film will also feature veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.

Mulk is slated to release on Jul 27.

Pink, which was released in 2017, featured acting legend Amitabh Bachchan along with Taapsee. Bachchan played the role of an advocate to Pannu  in the film.

Taapsee, who made her Bollywood debut with Chasme Baddoor in 2012, received critical acclaim for her acting skills in Pink.
