Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel begin shooting for 'Gadar 2'

Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Sunny Deol has begun shooting for his much-awaited film Gadar 2, a sequel to the superhit 2001 film.

For the sequel, Sunny Deol will be reprising his role as Tara Singh.

Actor Ameesha Patel, who played the role of Sakeena in the first instalment will also feature in the sequel.

Sharing the image from the shoot, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote: “Sunny Deol, Anil Sharma, Zee: 'Gadar 2' starts today.”

In the tweet, Taran Adarsh further added, “Gadar 2, the sequel to Gadar, starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma - commences shoot today...Directed by Anil Sharma... Produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Productions.”

Sunny Deol also shared an image on Instagram, confirming that he has begun shooting for the film.
