Sonakshi Sinha turns 29

Mumbai, June 2 (IBNS): Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha turned 29 on Thursday as she offered a sneak peek into the life of the lead character from the movie 'Noor'.

"The awesome #NoorFlash has been helmed by our @NoorTheFilm director, @sunhilsippy, music is by @amaalmallik #Noor @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries," Sinha tweeted.

She said: "She’s every girl. She’s #Noor #IAmNoor #Happy #GotMyGlowOn Here's a peek. Presenting the #NoorFlash Hope u enjoy it."

The film is titled Noor and will star the inimitable Sonakshi Sinha in the title role. The project will be helmed by popular ad-film director, Sunhil Sippy, known for his work in the fashion, lifestyle and beauty space.

Born to actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi made her debut in the Hindi film industry with 2010's 'Dabangg' opposite Salman Khan.

The film went on to become the highest grossing Bollywood venture of the year.

She also bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Post her debut, she went on to play the leading lady in some of Bollywood's biggest hits, including 'Rowdy Rathore' (2012), 'Son of Sardaar' (2012), and 'Dabangg 2' (2012).

Though, she received negative reviews for her choice of previous roles, Sinha received critical praise for her performance in 'Lootera' (2013).
