Raipur, Oct 2 (IBNS): During a heated exchange with ground staffs at Raipur airport over luggage fine, singer Aditya Narayan threatened one of Indigo's staff members to strip him naked, media reports said.

The heated exchange began after Aditya, son of singer Udit Narayan, refused to pay Rs. 13000/- for carrying excess luggage. The singer agreed to pay Rs. 10000/-.

The ground staff, however, refused to allow Aditya to board on flight and this was when the singer got infuriated at a particular staff and said: "Once I will definitely go to Mumbai and if don't strip you naked there, my name is not Aditya Narayan."

Indigo, in an official statement, which was accessed by Times Now, said the singer even misbehaved with a female staff.

The statement reads:"While making a video he pointed a finger at the Duty Manager and again used profanity. When he was politely asked to be civil and not use such language as there were other passengers and female staff members present, he started shouting even loudly and used abusive words which we are refraining from mentioning here."

"He was informed that if he continues to misbehave he will not be allowed to travel. Later passenger Mr Narayan apologised to the ground staff and thereafter was given the boarding cards," it added.

The singer was travelling with five of his friends.

It is with the apology of Aditya to the staff members of Indigo, the airline carrier allowed the singer to board the flight, media reports said.
