Revealed: Why Bhushan Kumar saved Arjun for something bigger

Mumbai, Mar 7 (IBNS): Recently, we heard that actor Ali Fazal would be replacing Arjun Rampal in director Soni Razdan's next which is jointly being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mahesh Bhatt.

This made us wonder why, and now we finally know the reason.

Producer Bhushan Kumar said, "Arjun Rampal is a very dedicated actor and is extremely conscious about the production values and budgets of the films he has done and commits to. We had a great experience working on Roy.  Love Affair is a period film. However, when the Bhatts decided to bring down the overall budget, we all together decided to save Arjun for another project that we are planning on, even though he was very enthusiastic about the script. Hence we've all mutually decided  save Arjun for another bigger project.”

The producer further revealed that the decision was mutual and also said that Arjun will work with them on another upcoming project, where the ace actor will be seen opposite Kalki Koechlin.

He added, “To me, Arjun is a good friend and working with him is always something we look forward to."
