After a series of silent results by Hindi films in the box office this year, Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer recently-released Brahmastra is maintaining a strong run in terms of collection despite mixed public reviews.

The Hindi version of the film has earned Rs. 31.5 crore, Rs. 37.5 crore and Rs. 39.5 crore respectively in the first three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) since its release, film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film has earned Rs. four crore from other languages of the film.

Brahmastra, which has been praised by the audience for its VFX, is directed by Ayan Mukerji.

Amid dismal show of Hindi films in the box office, Brahmastra became the fourth film in the particular language to earn healthy collections.

Alia's Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani featured Jug Jugg Jeeyo are the other Hindi films that have traded well in the box office.
