NYC Broadway calling for Kangana

Mumbai, June 17 (IBNS) Indian star Kangana Ranaut believed to be spending a few weeks in NYC as an understudy as part of a Broadway musical as prep for her next film.

Method acting and actual research is something very few actors boast of. One of those who proudly can is the reigning Queen of B-Town - Kangana Ranaut.

It is believed that Kangs, who is known for doing all she can to get under the skin of her character, will be spending a few weeks in New York as a Broadway musical production understudy to perfect her character for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon.

The film is a musical centered on the key character of Julia, played by Kangana.

An insider source revealed, "After the super success of TWMR all eyes are on Kangana Ranaut's next project. Apart from Nikhil Advani's Katti Batti, she is soon going to start shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's Rangoon, which was earlier called Julia. Kangana plays the lead character of Julia in the film which is a Broadway style musical, where she will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor. Interestingly, to understand the nuances of Broadway, Kangana is all set to visit New York to be an understudy at one of the world's biggest Broadway musical productions."
