'My friend Pathaan...,' Katrina Kaif aka Zoya's special message for SRK

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif, who is Zoya from the Tiger franchise of Yash Raj Films, has written a special note for Shah Rukh Khan starrer Hindi film Pathaan, which released on Wednesday.

In an Instagram story, Katrina posted her picture from the Tiger franchise saying, "My friend Pathaan is on a dangerous mission. It is very important in the interest of national security that you don't reveal anything about this.

"You are all part of this classified mission now."

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan, which is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe, stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham alongside SRK.

It is the biggest ever release for a Hindi film ever in the history of Indian cinema.

Going by the trend of advance bookings, Pathaan is expected to earn at least around Rs. 35-40-crore on the opening day and trample some of the recent blockbusters like RRR, Brahmastra, KGF: Chapter 2 in terms of box office numbers.

The film is scheduled to be released in around 100 countries.
