Mumbai enjoys first October weekend in Vir Das style!

Mumbai, Oct 7 (IBNS): The evening of Gandhi Jayanti, one of the most important days in the Indian calendar proved to be a memorable one for theatre lovers in Mumbai.

Ashvin Gidwani Productions presented Vir Das’ popular play ‘History Of India VIRitten’ last weekend.  The actor and standup comedian accompanied by good friend and co-host Kavi Shastri, entertained loyal audience with charm and unmatched humor.

The show took the audience at St. Andrews through a history lesson they will always remember. Actor Tusshar Kapoor was also spotted enjoying the show along with the cast of Vir Das’ lastest film Mastizaade.

Hilarity was the theme of the show as the duo kept the momentum going with their camaraderie and powerful stage presence. The crowd was at its feet applauding the show.  Fans poured in to wish the actors for their successful show and pose with their favorite stars. Tusshar Kapoor and the cast of Mastizaade were thrilled by the whole experience.

‘History Of India VIRitten’ definitely brought a wave of laughter to a long festive weekend filled with humorous anecdotes and brilliant performances.
