Makers release Akshay Kumar's Gold trailer

Mumbai, June 25 (IBNS): Filmmakers on Monday released the trailer of superstar Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie Gold, promising to be one more big hit of 2018.

The movie is expected to be one big release during Independence Day celebration this year.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Keeps you hooked... Wonderful visuals... Background score enhances the impact... Here's #GoldTrailer... #Gold stars Akshay Kumar and a strong ensemble cast... Reema Kagti directs... 15 Aug 2018 release... #IndependenceDay... Link:"

Gold, directed by Reema Kagti, tells the story of Indian Hockey Team's first Olympic medal win, which took place in 1948.

Apart from Akshay Kumar, the movie also stars Kunal Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Vineet Kumar Singh and Amit Sadh among others.

Produced by the duo of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, Gold will release on Aug 15.
