Makers of Mohenjo Daro thankful to village panchayat at Bhuj
Mumbai, July 15 (IBNS): Ashutosh Gowariker and his team, who had shot a major chunk of the film Mohenjo Daro at Bhuj, received full support and cooperation from the people residing at the village.
As the film has been shot in the interiors of the place, the team had picked up locations near to the villages. The makers also spoke to the panchayat head before commencing the shoot.
It was a longer process of creating the sets first for the film and then shoot the parts.
When this was discussed with the village heads, they were very welcoming and in fact helped the entire crew in even building the sets.
They even shared their expertise with the little details while the set was made. The entire shooting process went off really smooth, and all thanks to the village and the panchayat heads who contributed immensely throughout the process.
When contacted, spokesperson confirmed the news and added, “As it is in the interiors of India, “we had to speak to the Panchayat and village people. And we were so grateful to them for being so helpful throughout the process of not only building the sets but also the entire time we were there shooting.”
Mohenjo Daro's trailer released and proved to be a visual spectacle.
Mohenjo Daro is an action-romance film based in the pre historic era. The film features Hrithik Roshan and debutant Pooja Hegde in the lead.
Anticipation levels are at an all time high with the audience awaiting Hrithik's association with Ashutosh Gowariker once again post Jodhaa Akbar.
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, writer-director of the Oscar-Nominated Lagaan, Mohenjo Daro stars Hrithik Roshan and introduces Pooja Hegde along with Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh.
