Lok Sabha Polls: Bollywood celebrities exercise their voting rights, share images on social media

Mumbai, Apr 29 (IBNS): As Mumbai voted in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha polls, several Bollywood actors, including Congress candidate Urmila Matondkar, exercised their franchise and shared their images with the poll dot marks on their fingers on the social media.

After voting, Priyanka Chopra, who is currently in India, tweeted: "This is the moment that matters....  Every vote is a voice that counts. #LokSabhaElections2019."

Actor Anupam Kher posted: "I exercised my democratic right. Did you? Please vote.

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene said: "Voting is our right, let's use it wisely! The future of our country is in our hands. Let's do our duty and #VoteForIndia."

Actor Rahul Bose said: "Have you? Returned from shooting in Hyderabad to do this. Catching a flight out in two hours. #DanceOfDemocracy #MayTheBestIdeasWin."

Urmila, who is now a Congress leader and a party candidate, also exercised her voting rights and tweeted: "Nothing feels better than making a contribution towards your country and carrying out your civic duty of Casting a Vote. Do your duty. ."

Several parts of the country are voting in the fourth phase of the polling in the Lok Sabah polls on Monday.

This time India is voting in seven phases.

The last phase of polling will take place on May 19.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
