Katrina Kaif's next to be helmed by Sriram Raghavan

Mumbai/UNI: Newly wed Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif on Christmas announced "new beginnings" and expressed joy and gratitude for finally bagging a project set to be directed by 'Andhadhun' fame director Sriram Raghavan.

Kaif shared an Instagram post with a picture of her alongside team "Merry Christmas" that includes southern star Vijay Sethupathi, captioning it "New Beginnings" with a yellow heart emoji.

She will be working for the first time with Sethupathi and Raghavan.

"I've always wanted to work with Sriram Sir. He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it's an honor to be directed by him.

"Super excited to be teaming up with @actorvijaysethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani and @sanjayroutraymatchbox," Kaif wrote on post.

The film is slated for a 2022 release.
