Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has dominated the Hindi film industry for two decades, turned 43 on Thursday.

On her birthday, actress Alia Bhatt, one of the pioneers of Bollywood in recent times, shared a throwback picture on her Instagram to wish the diva.

In the picture, both Alia and Kareena are seen in traditional attires. The two possibly had clicked the picture during Alia's marriage with actor Ranbir Kapoor, who happens to be Kareena's cousin brother.

Alia wrote, "to the ultimate queeeeeeeen.. happy birthday bebo.. love youuuuu."

On her 43rd birthday, Kareena's digital debut project, 'Jaane Jaan', was released on Netflix.

The film, co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead, is a thriller set in West Bengal's Kalimpong district.

Kareena, who is Maya D'Souza in the film, is stalked by Naren, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, who senses something wrong in Maya's place.

In the meantime, Vijay Varma, who plays a cop, comes to Kalimpong in search of Maya's husband and eventually falls in love with her. Vijay and Jaideep were shown as old friends.
