Kangna Ranwat seriously injured on set in sword fight scene
Media reports quoted film producer Kamal Jain as saying that Kangna was hit by a sword between her eyebrows on Wednesday evening and was admitted in the ICU of a hospital immediately.
Kangna reportedly got 15 stitches on her forehead and will be under observation in the hospital for a few days.
The examining doctor has been quoted as saying that it was a close shave for her because the cut was too close to her bone.
The incident took place when shooting for a scene, Kangna's co-star Nihar Pandya swung his sword and she ducked, but the time went wrong and the sword hit her on the forehead.
Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi, is scheduled for release in 2018. It remains to be seen if this delays the production significantly.
