Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, who is gearing up for two releases-Jayalalitha's biopic Thalaivi and Dhaakad-on Tuesday compared herself to Hollywood actresses Meryl Streep and Gal Gadot.

In a tweet, she wrote: "Massive transformation alert, The kind of range I display as a performer no other actress on this globe has that right now, I have raw talent like Meryl Streep for layered character depictions but I can also do skilled action and glamour like Gal Gadot #Thalaivi #Dhaakad."

What followed her post was a heavy backlash from netizens who trolled her and bullied her for not having 'humility' and called the actor 'arrogant'.

To which Kangana tweeted that she is open for a debate and said that "if anyone can show me more range and brilliance of craft than me by any other actress on this planet I promise to give up my arrogance."

This is how Twitter reacted to her post:

A Twitter user wrote, "Bhagwan ka diya sab kuch hai... range hai, raw talent hai, skilled action hai bas humility nahi hai."

Another user named Siddharth wrote, "If Meryl Street ever finds out about you, she'll sue you for defamation."

Slamming her a Twitterati Raj wrote: "A new word should be added to the English dictionary...Kanganaism, someone who suffers from a high degree of narcissistic delusion!"

A Twitter user called out Kangana's self-obsession and wrote, "There is a thin line between being confidence and self obsessed."

To this, Ranaut replied: "Anyone who is asking how many oscars I have can also ask how many national or Padma awards Meryl Streep has, answer is none, come out of your slave mentality. High time you all find some self respect and self worth."
