Jaanisaar reveals a behind-the-scenes video of romantic song 'Champayi Rang'

Mumbai, Aug 1 (IBNS): The makers of Jaanisaar have released a behind-the-scenes video of the romantic song 'Champayi Rang'.

The cast of the film along with director Muzaffar Ali and producer Meera Ali reveal some interesting insights about the essence of the song and its reference in the film.

They speak about the experience of shooting in a dense jungle and explain the beautiful love story between the prince and the courtesan.

‘Jaanisaar’ is a period drama starring the gorgeous Pernia Qureshi and Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas Naqvi in lead roles.

Set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence in 1857, the film essays the love story of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, and a prince brought up in England. ‘Jaanisaar’ is directed by Muzaffar Ali of cult classic UmraoJaan fame and produced by Meera Ali.

The film is set for release on Aug 7.
