Good Newwz: Akshay- Kareena Kapoor's movie earns Rs. 17 crore on opening day

Mumbai/IBNS: Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan's latest released movie Good Newwz earned Rs. 17 crore on the opening day.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#GoodNewwz packs a solid total on Day 1... Gathers speed from evening shows... Multiplexes especially record excellent numbers... North circuits dominate... Biz should multiply on Day 2 and 3... Fri ₹ 17.56 cr. #India biz... 2019 concludes with #GoodNewwz."

Apart from Akshay,  the movie will also feature actors Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. 

The film is directed by Raj Mehta.

This is a major Christmas and New Year release of the year.
