Mumbai, Mar 14 (IBNS): Farhan Akthar had an insightful exchange with many well known people and celebrities who were present at the United Nations Conference in New York.

Farhan who recently came onboard as the UN Women’s Goodwill Ambassador met the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and engaged with them at the panel discussion.

He also had in depth conversations with other attendees who attended the sessions.

It was a glittery event which was attended by strong personalities like Meryl Streep, Chris Martin (Coldplay frontman), Anne Hathway and Dakota Fanning who were all there to support gender equality.

The conversations were enthralling with diverse perspectives.

A lot of them reached out to Farhan and congratulated him on coming on board as the brand ambassador and also inquiring about his initiative MARD. They even questioned him on the actual conditions of the women in India.

Farhan quite liked the exchange of ideas and thoughts and stayed back till late at the gathering.

Farhan confirmed the news and his spokesperson adds, "It was a powerful and moving experience for Farhan."
