Emraan Hashmi goes the extra mile for Azhar

Mumbai, Feb 18 (IBNS) Actor Emraan Hashmi has turned workaholic.

The actor who was shooting for Vikram Bhatt's Raaz 4 made a quick dash to Mumbai to meet all the dubbing deadlines for his next-  Azhar.

Azhar, on the life and times of cricketer Mohd Azharuddin is one of 2016's most awaited films and Emraan has gone all out to essay the role of one of India'a most loved cricket captains who ended up becoming the most controversial sportsman of the country.

A source close to the actor revealed, “The makers of Azhar requested Emraan to come down for a few days. He in turn, asked Vikram to complete his portions for the thriller first, so that he could leave. The actor was shooting for the film in Romania'."

Emraan who has trained hard for the role with Azharuddin recently revealed a look from his film on the cricketer's birthday, which got thumbs up from media and fans alike.

Directed by Tony D’souza, Azhar also stars Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta along with others. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, N. P. Singh and Sneha Rajani, Azhar is a Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Networks’ production.
