Deepika to celebrate 29th b'day with Ranveer

Mumbai, Jan 5 (IBNS): One of the most successful actresses in the Bollywood industry at present, Deepika Padukone, turned 29 years of age on Monday.
After celebrating the new year together in Maldives, Deepika along with her love of life, Ranveer Singh,  will now celebrate her birthday in New York.
 
According to reports, the actress will quietly celebrate her birthday in Ranveer's company.
 
Born to badminton player Prakash Padukone, she made her debut in the film industry with a Kannada film 'Aishwarya' in 2006.
 
The actress marked her presence with her debut in the Bollywood by starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film 'Om Shanti Om', which even earned her accolades and the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.
 
While her performance in 'Love Aaj Kal' bagged her a Filmfare nomination in the Best Actress category, the same in 'Housefull' emerged as a huge commercial success.
 
Her  film 'Cocktail' has also earned unanimous critical appreciation for her performance.
 
The actress' pairing with Shah Rukh Khan in the film 'Chennai Express'  had entered into the much-hyped Rs.200 crore club.
 
Her other films like ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and ' Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' were some of the other highest grossing films of 2013.
 
Last year also turned out to be quite meaningful for the actress who one hand garnered critical appreciation for her character in the satirical comedy 'Finding Fanny' while on the other hand, she earned commercial success with the film 'Happy New year'.
 
The actress, who is setting  the cash box ring heavily with almost every film, will now be seen in 'Piku' opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan and in 'Bajirao Mastani'.
