Cannes Film Festival 2017: Deepika Padukone to become the first Indian face on the red carpet

Cannes, May 17 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who has also worked in a Hollywood film, will be the first Indian face on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival 2017 as she would be making her debut in this festival, according to media reports on Wednesday.

Deepika, who is now 31 will be seen on the red carpet on Wednesday and Thursday for the first time followed by other Indian actress like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, in the coming days.

Deepika on her instagram account uploaded a picture with her latest dress up for the festival.

On her post, Deepika said: "taking it all in...#Cannes2017....", which was followed by thousands of comments from her followers lauding her outfit and looks.
