New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI): Internationally acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan, who was suffering from neuro-endocrine tumour, a kind of cancer, on Wednesday shared a heartfelt message for everyone who wished him well and prayed for his quick recovery.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Irrfan said, ''Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.''

Irrfan Khan had returned to India post his treatment in London last month, but the actor was keeping away from the media and interacting with fans on Twitter.
