Busy schedule plays spoilsport to 'Southpaw' star Jake Gyllenhaal's India Plans

Los Angeles, July 29 (IBNS): The most awaited Hollywood film-'Southpaw' is all set to release in India. Hollywood heavyweight Jake Gyllenhaal, who stars in the film, was very keen on visiting India for its release, but his busy schedule back home played the spoil sport and had to drop his plans to fly down to India.

However, the Brokeback Mountain Star has made sure to promote the film through Indian media.

Jake has left no stone unturned to prepare himself for the role of boxing legend - Billy “The Great’ Hope.

‘Southpaw’ is a very special film for Jake and he wants everyone to watch it.

Other than Jake, the film also stars power packed performers like Forest Whitaker and Rachel McAdams. The star cast also boasts of big names like 50 cents, Naomie Harris and Victor Ortiz.

Recently, a special screening for 'Southpaw' took place in Mumbai, which was was attended by Madhu Mantena, Prakriti Kakkar,  Akriti Kakkar, Sukriti Kakkar, Fahad Samar and Arman Malik.

‘Southpaw’ is all set to release in India on July 31.
