BRICS Film Festival: Madhur Bhandarkar to represent India with Mumbai Mist

Mumbai, Jun 20 (IBNS): Bollywood filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar will be representing India in the upcoming BRICS Film Festival, which is scheduled to take place in China from Jun 22.

Bhandarkar's short film Mumbai Mist has been selected as Indian's entry for the festival, which will screen 30 films.

The films will be from BRICS nations, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Mumbai Mist stars Annu Kapoor, Master Devrath, Parvin Dabas, Jonita Doda and Jitin Sippy.

Sharing the news, trade analyst and Bollywood movie reviewer taran Adarsh tweeted, "Madhur Bhandarkar to represent India at BRICS Film Festival in China on 22 June with his short film #MumbaiMist. Stars Annu Kapoor."

This year's edition will be the second one.

The first edition of the BRICS Film Festival was held in India's capital Delhi in the month of September.
