Mumbai/IBNS: The Sunny Deol starrer Border 2, a spiritual successor to J.P. Dutta’s iconic 1997 film Border, has stormed past the ₹100‑crore mark within just three days of its release.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹30 crore on its opening day, ₹36.5 crore on day 2, and a whopping ₹54.5 crore on day 3, its first Sunday. This brings the total collection to ₹121 crore in its opening weekend since releasing on January 23, 2026.

The fourth day, coinciding with the Republic Day holiday, is expected to deliver strong collections, further boosting the film’s box office performance.

Set against the backdrop of the India‑Pakistan war of 1971, Border 2 expands its narrative across multiple fronts, featuring action from the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy, offering a broader canvas than the original.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in the lead roles, delivering a mix of patriotic fervor and high-octane action.
