Mumbai, Dec 27 (IBNS): Riding on the success of his latest released movie Tiger Zinda Hai, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Wednesday turned 52.

Tiger Zinda Hai released on Friday and it has already touched Rs. 150 crore mark at the box office.

The superstar has united with actress Katrina Kaif after a long time in this movie.

The action-drama has already touched hearts of audience across India.

Meanwhile, celebrating the superstar's birthday a hastag 'HappyBirthdaySalmanKhan' is already trending on Twitter.

Salman is busy with his upcoming project Race 3 these days.

Salman, who made fictional characters of Chulbul Pandey and Lovely Singh (among others) almost come alive, started his career with 'Biwi Ho To Aisi' but it was his second film as 'Maine Pyar Kiya' in which he acted in a lead role, garnered him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Though his career plunged after Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Salman hit the headlines often for other reasons be it his high profile relations with other actresses or for his enfant terrible image.

It all changed for him in 2009 with the release of Wanted. The film raked up the goods and Salman, the Money Spinner was unleashed.

With subsequent releases like Daabang, Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan among others, Salman became a force to reckon with as his movies created and broke new records.
