Bollywood celebrities wish country on Onam

Mumbai, Aug 25 (IBNS): Bollywood celebrities on Saturday wished Indians on the occasion of Onam.

This year the festival is celebrated at a time when Kerala is fighting hard to return back to a normal state following heavy floods and damages caused by it.

Celebrities also took the oppurtunity in standing beside people living in distress in the southern state.

Actress Hema Malini tweeted: "Wishing you all a very Happy Onam."

Actor Rajeev Khandelwal said: "Wishing all my malyali friends a very happy Onam. May this festival usher in a new Kerala- A very happy and prosperous one with all the miseries behind it!"

Actor Jackie Shroff tweeted: "Happy Onam...Happiness Always!!!!."
