Bollywood actress Neetu Kapoor tests COVID-19 negative

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actress Neetu Kapoor has tested negative for COVID-19, her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni announced on Friday.

Posting an image with her mother, Riddhima wrote on Instagram: "Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers - My mother has tested COVID-19 negative today."

Neetu Kapoor was reportedly self-quarantining at her residence after testing positive for the virus.

Neetu Kapoor earlier shared a message on Instagram to inform her fans that she has tested positive.

"Earlier this week, I tested positive for COVID-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor's advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe, wear a mask and keep safe distance. Take care," the actress wrote in her message posted on Instagram.
