Mumbai, May 5 (IBNS): Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor's father-and-son story, 102 Not Out, has started slow at the box office, collecting Rs 3.52 crore on the opening day.

Despite its slow reception, the film has been mostly well received by critics and boasts of a rating of 7.7/10 on the IMDB website.

According to business analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has a 'super-strong word of mouth'.

"Like most content-driven films aimed at families, #102NotOut started on a slow note, but gathered momentum from evening onwards... A HEALTHY GROWTH is on the cards on Sat and Sun... Word of mouth is SUPER-STRONG... Fri ₹ 3.52 cr. India biz," Adarsh tweeted.

102 Not Out is directed by Umesh Shukla, while AR Rahman has scored the music for the film.
