Alia Bhatt makes dreamy debut at Cannes Film Festival, picks a Schiaparelli gown for her red carpet walk

Alia Bhatt made her much-anticipated Cannes Film Festival debut in a fairy-tale look, exuding vintage grace and effortless charm as she walked the prestigious red carpet.

For her debut, Alia chose a Schiaparelli creation by Daniel Roseberry, from the Maison's Spring/Summer 2025 line.

With her minimalistic make-up, hairdo, and jewellery, Alia let the floral gown take the center stage as she walked confidently on the Cannes red carpet, which has now become the high street of fashion.

Alia's white and pastel body-hugging gown, from the line named 'Icarus', came with a ruffled train of sorts.

Ahead of her red carpet walk, the National-Award-winning actress teased fans with a black-and-white photo shared via her Instagram stories.

In it, she stood on a balcony holding a paper fan emblazoned with the L’Oréal tagline “I’m worth it,” setting the tone for a debut that was not only much-anticipated but doubtful as well over speculations that she would skip the festival amid the India-Pakistan border tension.

Her decision to delay her arrival was seen as a gesture of solidarity, but her eventual debut was all the more impactful.

“There’s something truly special about firsts. Representing L’Oréal Paris at such a prestigious celebration of cinema and self-expression is a dream come true. To me, beauty is all about individuality, confidence, and knowing your worth," she told the reporters at Cannes.

Alia's appearance at Cannes comes at the fag end of the festival this year. She was representing beauty brand L'Oréal along with Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
