Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Mangal' releases in Hong Kong

New Delhi/UNI: Indian actors Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari starrer 'Mission Mangal' on Thursday released in Hong Kong with Cantonese subtitles.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Akhsay said,'Feeling proud #MissionMangal is now running with Cantonese subtitles across theatres in Hong Kong.'

The film is based on the life of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, India's first interplanetary expedition.

'Mission Mangal' is directed by Jagan Shakti and jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Aruna Bhatia, and Anil Naidu.

The film also stars Sharman Joshi, H G Dattatreya and Vikram Gokhale.

The flick was released on August 15, 2019 in India.
