Mumbai, July 4 (IBNS) Reacting to the remark made by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on 'rape', another actor Aamir Khan said his 'Andaz Apna Apna' co-star's comment was 'unfortunate' and ' insensitive'.

Speaking to reporters, Aamir Khan said: "As per what media reported, what Salman said was rather unfortunate and insensitive."

In June, while speaking with reporters about his new release, Sultan,Salman Khan said that his training for the role of a wrestler in the film was so gruelling that he felt "like a raped woman".

As his remark ignited sharp criticisms, his  father, Salim Khan, a noted script-writer, tweeted an apology on the behalf of his son.

Sultan will release on July 6.
