West Bengal school dedicates Christmas Carnival to WWI soldiers
Recalling the dedication and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers on the centenary of the First World War, Methodist School, Dankuni in West Bengal is celebrating Peace on Earth by dedicating this year’s Christmas Carnival to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Great War 100 years ago. Children from the school and NGO will perform on the rhymes and plays. Filmmaker Ashoke Viswanathan along with actors and actresses were present at the Calcutta Sports Journalists' Club in a press event to support the cause on Thursday (Dec 11, 2014).
