In Images: Chorebagan Durga idol immersed, ‘controversial’ pandal kept intact for SIT probe
The Durga idol of the Chorebagan Puja committee is taken for immersion in Kolkata on Saturday, after the SIT headed by retired Justice Anindita Roy Saraswati raised no objection. The “controversial” pandal will not be dismantled for now, as the SIT has directed that it be preserved in the interest of the ongoing investigation. Photo: Avishek Mitra/IBNS
