Woman gym trainer attacked with acid by man who was later found dead

Bhopal, May 22 (IBNS): A young woman gym trainer in Bhopal has been seriously injured after being attacked with acid by a man on Friday morning, who was later found dead.

The woman is now admitted in hospital. She is being treated for 50 per cent burns.

The victim, identified as Renu Sahu, was attacked by Sanjay Patil. Following the attack, Patil was beaten by mob.

According to reports, Patil was Sahu's neighbour and had been stalking her for months.

On her way to work on Friday morning, Sahu realized that she was being followed by him.

She reportedly went to a police station to complain but was asked to go to another.

Patil then allegedly stopped her on the way and threw acid on her.
