We are with you: Bhutan PM tweets after Uttarakhand glacier burst tragedy

Thimphu: Bhutan PM Lotay Tshering on Monday said his nation is with the people of India where a flash flood, triggered by a glacier burst incident, in Uttarakhand's Chamoli region on Sunday left at least 10 people dead.

"Sending prayers for the souls lost to the Uttarkhand flood and wishing courage to those who are fighting the disaster. May those who are still missing be found in good health. We are with you, dear friends in India. @PMOIndia," the official twitter handle of the Bhutan PM posted.

Rescue operation is currently going on in Uttarakhand's Chamoli where a glacier burst led to a massive flooding of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers on Sunday.

The bodies of 10 people have been recovered so far, official reports said.

15o people are feared to be missing so far.

 Relief and rescue operations, involving Army, Navy, Airforce and NDRF teams, were continuing on a war footing.
