WB: TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee injured in road mishap

Kolkata, Oct 18 (IBNS): Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee was seriously injured in a car crash near Kolkata on Tuesday, reports said.

According to reports, when Abhishek Banerjee was returning to Kolkata from Beharampur in Murshidabad district of West Bengal when his SUV met an accident on Durgapur Expressway near Singur in Hooghly district.

After being rescued, Banerjee has been rushed to Kolkata and admitted in Belevue Clinic.
