Uttar Pradesh: Two killed in bus truck collision on Agra-Lucknow expressway

Etawah/UNI: Driver of a bus and a passenger were killed when their vehicle hit a truck in Safai area on Agra-Lucknow expressway late Wednesday night.

The bus was going to Gonda in Uttar Pradesh from Delhi.

Dr Brajesh Kumar Singh said here on Thursday that 13 other people were also injured in the accident. The bus was carrying around 65 passengers when it hit a truck.

The deceased were identified as driver of the bus Dilip Shukla of Pratapgarh and a passenger Kishan Shukla of Gonda.

The injured have been admitted to the Saifai medical college.

Due to the accident, traffic on the Expressway was disrupted for 2 hours.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolence on the death of people in the accident.

The CM has instructed the district officials to provide adequate medical treatment to the injured.
