Tibetan activist walks from Dharamsala to Nathula as part of ‘March for Freedom’
Dharamshala: Tibetan peace marcher Tenzin Dhondup has finally reached the destination of his ‘March to Freedom' after completing a distance of over 2300 km.
He covered the distance from Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh to Nathula in Sikkim along China border.
He was accompanied in his journey by fellow activist Tenzin Nyima who joined him from Chandigarh.

“I don’t know if I succeeded in what I set out to do. However, we’ve done all we could in the nine states that we crossed,” he was quoted as saying by Phayul.
Tenzin Dhondup told Phayul about the overwhelming end of his march, “When I first started, I hoped that people would join me on the march. This wish was eventually granted as I met Tenzin Nyima in Chandigarh and Tenzin Choephel in Siliguri and on the last day in Gangtok, there were around 80 people marching with me. I think this is my biggest achievement.”
