Speeding vehicle kills 3 women in Assam’s Tinsukia on Mahalaya

Guwahati, Sep 28 (IBNS): At least three women were killed and six others were injured after a speeding Innova car rammed into a group of people while they were participating in the Mahalaya rally in Assam’s Tinsukia district on Saturday morning.

The incident took place at Tinsukia town where a speeding Innova car rammed a group of people.

According to the reports, during the early morning hours, a huge number of people went to the area to take participate in the Mahalaya rally.

One woman died on spot and two others succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

The other injured people were admitted at Tinsukia civil hospital.

Following the incident, some angry people had damaged the vehicle.
