Senior Congress leader Gurupada Nanda passes away
Bhubaneswar/UNI: Senior Congress leader and former Rourkela MLA Gurupada Nanda passed away while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Odisha's Cuttack on Tuesday. He was 77.
An active Congress leader, Nanda had joined the Congress in 1972.
He was elected to Odisha Legislative Assembly on Congress ticket from Rourkela Assembly Constituency in 1980.
He was President of the state youth Congress and was also a member of the state working committee of the Congress for a brief period.
