Russia-India-China Trilateral meeting commences in New Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 11 (IBNS): India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met visiting Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi, in New Delhi, on Monday, according to media reports. 

The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi also called on President Ram Nath Kovind, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi, on Monday.

Minister Swaraj is also scheduled to meet Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday.

Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov , also called on President Kovind, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, on Monday.

The meeting between the foreign ministers is part of the Russia-India-China (RIC) trilateral meeting.

The meeting was earlier scheduled in April but had to be postponed as the Chinese minister did not confirm his participation, media reported.
